Hi, nice work. I have a question to you- how did you upload this drawing to computer? Did you scan it or did you take a photo, and did you do any additional editing on computer to make it look so high-quality?
Hi, thanks. I scanned it. As for additional editing, I usually just adjust the contrast for b&w pieces. Color pieces are trickier and I have to play with levels, saturation and brightness in photoshop to obtain a result as close as possible to the original. There's always some loss though.

Beautiful! Great textures, composition and atmosphere. You're great at capturing that classic illustrative look- like Howard Pyle and company. I only wish it was a bit bigger so I could appreciate all of that line-work.
It's just cross-hatching these days (i used ink washes but I stopped a few years ago). For this one I used a drawing pen for the main line work and very thin technical pens ( 0.1 and 0.2) for the hatching.
